I rarely have had any dream that I wake up to remember, so this is not a hook to get you to read my blog, this is what I saw in my dream. There was a water source it might have been rain, not sure though, everyone was glad about it and I focused on this particular man who was so glad to have the rain and he was so glad because he had waited for this water source for a long time and lo and behold after fetching this water and the source stopped I followed this man for a while and I noticed he could not use this precious water he filled because when he tried using it, I noticed the water was filled with lots of impurities, dirts, dead objects etc I felt so sorry for him and right there in this dream I was wondering why would this man labour to fetch this water and he could not use it.

I was still sleeping when I heard loudly THE CONTAINER MATTER!!! I wondered what this meant just then it occurred to me this man was not receiving the water into a clean container, hence the pure water provided for him could not do him much good, because his container was contaminated filled with loads of impurities. I woke up and started reflecting on what this could mean for me, my friend and probably you, YES even you. The message is simple THE CONTAINER MATTERS.. I see the container as an embodiment of the individual and the water as the free gift from God, fellow human being, mentors, leaders etc so the message is it matters little what we receiver because who we are ultimately colors what has been freely given to us.

To make your container better, it starts by being rightfully vulnerable, yes vulnerable enough to keep asking what am I doing wrong and what can I improve, who can help me improve, what are the brutal facts about my life I have refused to confront. I also suggest you ask read books that will challenge how you think, do not try to adapt everything to your preference, rather adapt yourself to the right values that challenges your thinking. Be deliberate about seeking right mentors and if you are a believer pray and ask for guidance and grace to see right, do right and be right. When all is said and done, do not forget : THE CONTAINER (YOUR THINKING) MATTERS !!!
